How to Book Out Your Services
It all started at a Tony Robbins’ event this year when he announced to the crowd that the secret to business is “knowing your clients better than they know themselves”.
I’ve been saying this for years — teaching it in pretty much every single blog post I’ve ever written, every video I’ve ever filmed. The Rainbow of Sales is based on this principle. It’s the first thing I cover in The Sales Page Kit. In fact, I teach an entire group program, Yay for Clients, built on KNOWING YOUR CLIENTS BETTER THAN THEY KNOW THEMSELVES.
You may know by now that I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend all service providers create signature services. Here are just a few blogs where I’ve taught about it:
- The 4 Stages of Business You MUST Go Through (Which stage are you in?)
- 7 Reasons a Signature Service Will Attract More Clients
- The Exhaustive Guide to Packaging a New Service

Did you know that there is a blueprint for booking out your services?
Today’s video isn’t just about why you should create a signature service but HOW to do it.
Before you watch the video, though, make sure to download your Booked Out Blueprint (you’ll see why once you click play!)
Here’s the Booked Out Blueprint in a Nutshell:
PHASE 1 – CREATE THE OFFER
Pillar #1 – Niche
Pick the niche that you want to help right now. Oftentimes you have to start with specific work and then branch out into more and more abstract work. Start with the technical “done for you” and branch out into “coaching” or “consulting”.
Pillar #2 – Signature System
People pay more for a signature system for 3 reasons: (1) it gives you credibility (2) It’s results oriented (3) It’s not competing with anyone else.
PHASE 2 – PUT IT OUT THERE
Pillar #3 – Validate + Test
So many people – even successful entrepreneurs – try to use the “hope and pray” method for launching new offers based on their gut feeling or initial research. That’s not enough. What you need to do is TEST your new service idea before you throw it out there.
Pillar #4 – Launch
You can put your new services on your website whenever you’re ready, but at some point I also recommend doing a big promotion in order to get your first slew of clients.
PHASE 3 – SCALE + LEVERAGE IT
Pillar #5 – Systems
This is what separates the amateurs from the pros. Pros realize that systems give leverage. Systems allow you to stop doing busywork and give more space for you to do the real work with your clients.
Pillar #6 – Book Out
Do you know where your next client is coming from? You can never know with 100% certainty, but you should have systems in place for booking.
In the Booked Out Blueprint I’m giving you 3 actions that you can take for each of the 6 pillars to book out your service based business:
